ALYSON L. CARPENTER

Alyson L. Carpenter is a born-and-raised New York artist with a love for storytelling and teaching. She apprenticed with local artists before studying at Mercy College, where she discovered a love for storyboarding, creature creation, and earned her BFA in Computer Arts and Design.

Carpenter finds her inspiration in artists like Evan Dahm, Stjepan Sejic, Hidetaka Miyazki, and the works of Studio Ghibli; fascinated with their worldbuilding and characters.

Currently an educator at The Artist Lab in Irvine, CA, she helps guide students young and old through the process of understanding art.
